Kaiser Partner “Wealth Management Innovator of the Year 2011”
Prestigious SPEAR‘s Oscar of “Wealth Management Innovator of the Year 2011” awarded to Kaiser Partner’s chairman and senior advisor
Liechtenstein-based wealth manager Kaiser Partner has received this year’s Wealth Management Innovator of the Year award by Spear’s magazine. The firm received the prestigious industry award based on the activities of Kaiser Partner chairman Fritz Kaiser and board member Philip Marcovici in relation to the successful instigation and development of the “Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility” (LDF).
The annual awards ceremony took place in London on 1st November and is widely regarded as the industry Oscars. Leading firms and professional advisors from across the industry compete for over a dozen major awards managed by the influential magazine for high net worth individuals worldwide. The innovation award is in recognition of a company or professional whose actions have helped reshape the wealth management business positively and responsibly.
The LDF agreement between the United Kingdom and the Principality of Liechtenstein has created a unique process for declaring as yet untaxed assets. As clients of a Liechtenstein financial institution, UK taxpayers can use this process to regularize their tax affairs – often on advantageous terms. This solution has transformed the conduct of business for clients and companies using Liechtenstein solutions.
“We value this award immensely as a positive recognition of our efforts at Kaiser Partner to drive positive change through the wealth management industry. The LDF is an important milestone in the development of Liechtenstein as a global private client financial centre. The solution is showing itself to be highly effective in the complex world of modern wealth management,” noted Fritz Kaiser, chairman.
