General remarks

With this Cookie Policy (“Policy”) we would like to inform you about the most important aspects concerning the processing of personal data (= any information relating to a person who has been or can be identified by this data), which we gather by your accessing the website, social media profiles, mobile Apps or any other applications (together “Digital Services” or “DS”) of Kaiser Partner.

Kaiser Partner reserves the right to amend this Policy or any other information available on DS from time to time. Such changes come into force with their publication.

By accessing DS you consent to this Policy.

Cookies

DS use cookies. Cookies are small files that store details of your usage (your IP-address, the website from where you visit us, the type of the browser software, the websites you have visited including date and time of access etc.). Cookies allow us to recognize your device the next time you visit our DS and to tailor the DS to your needs. Therefore, we use cookies for website and performance analysis, namely cookies, which provide us with overall statistics on the number of visitors, pages visited, etc. As a result, we receive statistical evaluations, with which we examine the needs-based design of the DS. Data can be transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. However, they are not able to identify you or establish a connection with your person.

We use the following third-party providers for this purpose:

  • Google Analytics of the company Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and
  • ClickDimensions of the company ClickDimensions LLC, 5901 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, NE Suite B500, Atlanta, GA 30328.

In addition, when visiting our DS targeting service providers can store temporary cookies on the hard disk of your device or on your mobile device, which automatically delete themselves after a specified time. These cookies contain a machine-generated alphanumeric identifier, which does not allow to identify you or the IP-address of your device.

If cookies are used for the aforementioned purpose, you will be asked to accept them prior to their installation (Opt-In). You can block the use of cookies or delate any cookies on your browser. However, this may mean that you will potentially not be able to make full use of all the functions of DS.

Data storage

If we process personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address) during your use of DS, we store this data for the purpose of authentication on data medium located in Liechtenstein. The data you enter on the DS we use according to the purpose given. They are kept for as long as its purpose requires.

Data transfer

Data collected on the DS are not passed on to third parties except where

  • we are legally obligated to disclose the data (e.g. to authorities) or
  • the data is processed on our behalf by a service provider that was contractually obligated to treat the data confidentially or
  • you haven given your consent to the data being passed on.

Protection measures

Using state of the art security software and encoding and encryption techniques, our IT infrastructure meets international security standards. In addition, we have also taken extensive security precautions and technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or misuse according to the current state of the art.

Irrespective of the measures taken, you must be aware of the fact that data transfer is uncontrolled and across borders. The data transfer via DS can have security gaps. Therefore, we cannot assure you absolute data protection (e.g. access by third parties). Even if the sender and recipient are in the same country, data may be transferred across borders. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that data transferred via DS will be treated confidentially. If you disclose personal data, you must be aware of the fact that third parties are able to access this information and read, change, falsify, monitor, destroy or misuse the data. Furthermore, the data transfer may be delayed or the data may be lost during transfer. Additionally, third parties could draw conclusions about existing business relationships. Therefore we cannot accept responsibility for the security of your data during transfer via DS and reject all liability for direct and indirect damage.

The DS may be linked to websites or content on websites of other operators. We do not accept any liability for these contents.

Rights

You have the right to access, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object opposition and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Details of your rights and further information can be found in our data protection notice.
